If you’re the best at what you do, we want you! We’re always looking for expert ESL teachers with a range of experience.
Be a native English-language speaker (from Canada, UK, US, Australia, NZ, Ireland, or RSA).
Have a relevant qualification (TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent) and 2-3 years experience as an ESL teacher.
Have a stable internet connection, a computer, camera, high-quality headset, and Zoom (video conferencing tool) and a quiet environment conducive to teaching.
Be able to work legally and commit to a fixed weekly schedule.
All teachers begin earning at the same hourly rate. With every 50 classes completed, your rate per class increases until you reach the top of the earning scale.
Earnings depend on your previous experience. We respect the individual situation of each teacher and their teaching backgrounds. Each class is 60 minutes long.
Choose to be paid via PayPal or bank wire transfer.
After you provide your weekly available time slots, we hire you on an hourly basis.
If there is sufficient demand for a teacher, we may offer you a full-time online position with a fixed monthly salary.
We pay teachers on a monthly basis. All payments are released between the 1st and 5th of each month.
If you prefer to be paid on a biweekly basis, please contact us and we will try to arrange this for you.
No, we only offer teachers the opportunity to teach classes online on a scheduled basis.
We have a strict policy on postponing or missing classes. If you need to do so, contact us well in advance to discuss the options.
